Consulting depth. Contracting muscle.

Nine consulting practice areas plus direct safety-services contracting, training delivery and embedded safety manpower for construction sites. Every engagement is scoped to the decision it supports.

Part one

Risk consulting.

Nine practice areas covering the arc from submission to renewal, field assessment, written program work, loss analysis, underwriter-facing narrative, and full-system gap analysis.

01

Field-based risk assessments

On-site exposure evaluation across general liability, workers compensation, and auto liability. We identify the hazards that drive claim severity, document controls in place, and score residual exposure with a repeatable methodology carriers can benchmark year over year.

02

Written program development

Safety programs, site-specific plans, activity hazard analyses, emergency action plans, and fall protection programs, built for the size and complexity of your operation and the frameworks your contracts require.

03

Loss trending & modeling

Frequency, severity, and leading-indicator analysis. We turn claim history into forward-looking exposure models, segmenting loss drivers by trade, task, and region to focus intervention where the next dollar of prevention has the highest return.

Gap & systems analysis

A broader review of the full risk-management system, programs, procedures, controls, and residual exposures, mapped to plausible loss scenarios. We diagnose where the operation is thin, where controls are duplicative, and where a targeted intervention shifts the loss curve. The deliverable is a written strategy the leadership team can act on.

Part four

Common questions.

If you don't see your situation here, start with a scoping call.

Yes. Roughly half our engagements are broker-referred, technical assessment work on submissions, program-development support for insureds, and loss-analysis for renewals. Broker attribution is preserved throughout.
A single-site technical assessment (roughly one week of effort) or a scoping call to define a larger workstream. We don't gate on minimums, we gate on whether the work would materially change a decision.
Yes. Every placement is a Peril Mavens employee under our insurance, our credentialing, and our supervision. We don't broker manpower.
Typically yes. We maintain CGL, WC, E&O, and commercial auto coverage sized for federal and commercial construction MSA requirements.
Every engagement runs under mutual NDA. Loss data, program documents, and site imagery are stored in access-controlled workspaces and are never used as portfolio material without written permission.
Not sure which engagement fits?

Start with a scoping call.

30 minutes, no commitment. Bring the challenge, a renewal, a loss trend, a staffing gap, a new project start-up, and we'll tell you what needs to happen next.
